Knife Kizlyar Phoenix Combat U8

The Phoenix Combat is a massive, spectacular combat knife with a blade made of Russian U8 (Y8 in Russian) high carbon tool steel, making it literally indestructible.

The Phoenix knife blades are characterized by a reinforcing rib. This rib on the blade is not for decoration - thanks to this knife geometry, the toughness of the knife increases considerably and the knife can withstand much higher loads. The blade itself is ground from a 7mm piece of steel, full-tang is a given.

The blackening is done with black chrome plating technology. Coating is applied in several stages: copper is applied as the first layer, white chrome as the second and finally black chrome. The black chrome plating gives the knife an important property: the blade does not reflect light (light reflection in the visible part of the spectrum is 2%, in the infrared even less than 1%).

The handle is made of Textolite, a super-resistant composite material made by combining textile fibres and polymer binders. In addition to knife making, this material is also used for sliding bearings etc. - its mechanical and chemical resistance is enormous, it is also very water resistant.

This knife is officially classified as a cold weapon in Russia - such knives must have a registration number on the back of the blade, so the Phoenix Combat is no exception.

Comes with a leather sheath.
