The Kizlyar Scorpion M is the smaller brother of the Scorpion B. With fine lines and eye-pleasing style, its uniqueness and functionality make it a very attractive knife. Although the knife looks purely decorative, it is designed for hard work. It has been used by several military units of the Russian Federation. It was also presented for exemplary service to a few select soldiers by President Putin at the end of the Second Chechen War.
The knife uses a special design to prevent splitting of the wood - the walnut blades are cut at an angle. The wood is also impregnated with natural oil to preserve it and protect it from twisting.
The blade is polished and etched with a scorpion motif. The etching is done with a special acid, and then the motif is finished with hand engraving for extra fine detail.
